KICK START MIDDLEBURY EXPLAINED

Kick Start Middlebury is a new initiative that welcomes any and all ideas for a business that will add to a vibrant Main Street mix, provide residents and visitors with experiential opportunities, and bring new energy and jobs to the downtown.

Kick Start Middlebury will offer packages of valuable start-up incentives to at least three to five applicants to locate a new or expanded operation in Middlebury. Each package includes free or discounted services and products donated by area businesses, a $20,000 cash grant made available by the Town of Middlebury and donations from the Rotary Club of Middlebury and Table 21, as well as various benefits provided by property owners.

More than a cash prize and valuable start-up services, the initiative offers business support, coaching and connections that will help all applicants advance their ideas.
