HOW TO APPLY
There are two steps to applying for the Kick Start Middlebury program.
The first step is to submit a business idea, along with a Letter of Interest (details below). Letters of Interest will be reviewed by a committee that will then invite up to ten applicants to submit a full application--details will be provided at that time.
Invited applicants will proceed to the second step. They will receive free business plan counseling and business projection review from a VT Small Business Development Center advisor, or another qualified mentor. Invited applicants will be required to submit an application, a business plan, and financial projections which will be evaluated by a committee against a set of criteria. Applications will be accepted and reviewed for any location in Middlebury, but preference will be given to projects located in the Middlebury designated downtown. See a list of available storefronts.
